Adam Rogers

I think Adam Rogers is one of the best guitar player in modern time.
He is versatile player who can play any style of music and that is not easy.
I first saw him at the Rex Hotel Jazz bar with Ari Hoenig and Smashing Pumpkins
This trio sounded like something that I have never heard before.
They were playing lots of odd time stuff that I just had no idea what time signature they were in.
I wish I shot some videos so that I can share how I felt that night.

These Days, I listen to this album a lot.

Contemporary jazz album that features lots of guitar-listic melodies and playing.

and Chris Potter just rocks.

I went to my friends house one time and he played Chris Potter album that was live.

Adam Rogers was in that album and he was playing some pop stuff.

His guitar solo sounded like he was a total 'pop' guy who spent his life playing

pop music.. and he is not!! he is just a monster!

I tried to download this album from Itunes and it was not there.

I looked around the local music stores and "not surprise!" nobody had it.

I ordered it from American Amazon because Canadian Amazon did not have it.

Tunes in this album is not even on the youtube. 

And believe me.. this album is something.

I was knocked out.
