So I recently bought Native Instrument' Komplete 8 ultimate.
There are way too many sounds in there so I though I should start some kind of project.
Project that can simply touch each area of sounds.
In my first experiment, I have chosen to do some sound tracking.
Perhaps sound track for movie trailer.

Mountain lion + logic pro + komplete 8
So the Mountain Lion is finally here and lot of DAW owners are probably wondering
"is this new os gonna work with my DAW?"
I have seen mass failure when Apple launched 'Lion'.
I owned apogee duet at that time and the lot of people was having a driver issue which
did not go away for weeks.
This got me scared and made me stay on the Snow Leopard until now.
This time though, I woke up and saw Mountain Lion on the app store, I just downloaded it
and installed it without a second thought.
Pretty crazy thing I did.. since I am on the middle of a recording session..
but.. Time machine has my back so I was not too worried.
Okay so does logic pro and komplete 8 work with new os x Mountain lion?
Yes!! in my case.
I have late 2010 macbook pro running Logic pro 9 and Komplete 8 ultimate.
I did not load every single instruments from Komplete but seems like most of it works fine.
I pulled my current project in logic and things are popping hard! Great!
I have focusrite liquid saffire 56 and it did not work when I first installed the new OS but
I re-installed Mix Control 3 and its back on running.
One thing I hate about the new OS is..
Airplay mirroring is not available on my mac
Why?
I only had this computer for 2 years so it's fairly a new computer.
I am able to use airplay mirroring with Airparrot app.
Darn you Apple. Hear me now and support 2010 models too!.
Cheers,
